A joyful and conscious space for the youngest explorers.

"Funny Fayna" is a contemporary kindergarten designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a sense of safety in every corner.
Located in Ukraine, this A+ school space reimagines early childhood education environments — combining natural materials, tactile surfaces, and a playful color palette.

The project focuses on:
Zoning for independence: Clearly defined yet flexible learning areas
Biophilic design: Light, greenery, and natural textures to support well-being
Inclusive scale: Furniture, doorways, and transitions designed for children’s height and logic
Sensory diversity: Color, sound, and light carefully curated to avoid overstimulation
Each element — from reading nooks to climbing corners — is designed to engage both body and mind.
"Funny Fayna" is more than a school. It’s a miniature city, scaled and imagined for young citizens.
The walls feature graphic window-like illustrations that create the feeling of a “storybook house,” while natural wood furniture is complemented by vibrant accents like lime-green tables and pink storage bins.
The space is subtly divided into a soft play zone with carpet and a learning area equipped with an interactive board, ample storage, and a teacher’s desk.
A well-balanced environment — engaging, functional, and visually structured for young learners.
